ORCHID provides regular marketing and PR support for St John Ambulance in Jersey, so we were very interested to see the charity's new national TV ad, 'The Chokeables', which provides simple step-by-step guidance on how to save a choking baby.
The star-studded stop motion animation features a bunch of classic choking hazards alerting viewers to their potential danger, and providing tips on what to do if your baby starts choking. These "small miscellaneous objects" include David Mitchell as a chewed pen lid, David Walliams as a princess doll, Johnny Vegas as a Jelly Baby, and - right at the end - Sir John Hurt as a coughed-up peanut.
St John Ambulance have done a brilliant job of conveying a very important, serious safety message in a light-hearted and memorable way. Watch the vid for yourself and share it around. Even if you don't have a baby to save, it's not every day you get to witness the voice of an Oscar-nominated actor coming out of a regurgitated snack.
