Netflix takes its GIFs outside
Check out this fab new outdoor campaign promoting the launch of Netflix in France.
Having clearly recognised the ever-increasing popularity of animated GIFs amongst savvy internet users - from Redditors to Pinners - Netflix has embraced this trend and taken it out of context to create some really clever digital outdoor advertising. Not only will the use of GIFs appeal to Netflix's target demographic (especially since GIFs of various TV shows Netflix has to offer already frequent the internet), but the great number of executions and their contextual relevance make for a truly engaging campaign.
Nice work, Netflix! Now, hurry up and release season 3 of Orange is the New Black...
